1) What’s Your Role at TFNB Your Bank For Life?
I officially serve as Director of Strategic Initiatives & Business Development. That title is a little ambiguous. I prefer to think of myself more as a dot connector and solutions guy. As an officer of the bank, I am able to work in a lending capacity. My primary focus right now though, is to help identify things within the organization that would benefit us and then work with the executive team on initiatives to improve and grow. I love what I do and enjoy being a part of such a well-led team environment.
2) When you’re not at the bank, what are your hobbies?
Fishing and sports are my two favorites if I had to choose. I enjoy most anything outdoors, especially when it includes my family.
3) We hear that you recently moved to Waco. What’s been your favorite part so far?
Although I have been away from Waco for 20 years, I am no stranger to our city. I attended Baylor and played football for coach Grant Teaff. My daughter was born at Hillcrest hospital and I bought my first home here. I have very strong connections here and am happy to bring my family back. I think my favorite part so far is working with my wife Kacy to establish where we can make a positive impact on all the things going on around us right now. The city is changing so fast and we both really enjoy being a part of that. We are working together as a family to get ourselves out and meet as many people and organizations as we can so we can identify where we can make a positive impact. We are loving it so far and know that the best is yet to come!
