Waco Habitat for Humanity Charity Champions Testimonial
Impact on Waco Habitat for Humanity
Thanks for being patient as I crunched a few numbers relative to the potential impact of Charity Champions marketing campaign. Please note that all increases can be directly attributable to Charity Champions, but I do think that the marketing campaign positively impacted donations, products and volunteers. I analyzed data and compared a 3-month period (November, December, January) from 2013-14 to that of 2014-15. The results follow: § Donations at ReStore. 7% more donations yielded products with an 18% greater value being donated to ReStore. § Customers at ReStore. 6% more customers shopped at ReStore § Volunteers. Volunteers at ReStore have increase 50%, with an average daily increase of 18% more volunteers in store. § Corporate Donations. Waco Habitat corporate donations have increased 24%. § Corporate Relationships. New relationships with Big Bear Roofing and Construction, as well as with KWTX-TV can tie in some part to the Charity Champions marketing campaign. These relationships will positively impact future Corporate Donations and In-Kind Gifts. § Special Events. ReStore served as host site for our Holiday Home Tour, which raised $2,500. Please bear in mind, that our targeted marketing spotlighted ReStore and funding for a $93,000 climate control project. Toward that project, we have raised $28,000. Those gifts plus Waco Habitat budget funds will fully fund the insulation. We will begin Phase 1: Insulation this spring and then follow with Phase 2: Low Energy LED Lighting ($8,000) in mid-to-late summer. Phase 3: HVAC ($50,000). We continue fund raising for Phases 2 and 3 at this time. -- Brenda Shuttlesworth, Executive Director, Waco Habitat for Humanity, Inc.
