“You Will Always Be our Priority and at the Center of our Business!”

Dear TFNB Your Bank for Life customers & friends,

TFNB Your Bank for Life is not Silicon Valley Bank (California) or Signature Bank (New York).

Understandably due to developments related to the two above mentioned banks there have been many questions raised regarding the condition of the overall United States banking system. We know many of you are following the news regarding this situation and the concurrent response from federal and state regulators.

TFNB Your Bank for Life would like to share a few thoughts as it relates to the circumstances that led to unfortunate yet avoidable failures of these two banks. While we cannot comment on the specific challenges at these institutions, we wanted to assure you that our risk practices and industry exposures are in stark contrast to these two institutions.

TFNB Your Bank for Life is a community bank focusing on small businesses and diverse industries within the communities we serve.  Since our inception in 1889 we have always prioritized safety and soundness, profitability, and growth in that order.

Our risk management processes have resulted in strong capital and liquidity positions, which will allow us to continue to serve all current and prospective customers even in changing and uncertain times. Having been in business for over 130 years, we have watched many other financial institutions come and go.

Please know that TFNB Your Bank for Life remains well capitalized and positioned to continue to serve our community for decades to come.  If you know of a business owner or individual affected by this unfortunate situation, please let them know that we are here to help. We will remain ever vigilant as your community banking partner to changing market conditions and economic developments.

It’s important to remember that no one in history has ever lost a dime of FDIC-insured deposits.  If you have questions about your coverage, or would like to learn more about FDIC insurance and how it works, we encourage you to access the following resources or give us a call directly.
